• Six Sigma method believes in converting every
  problem into mathematical or statistical
  problems. The mathematical problem is solved in
  six sigma using tools in Quality, statistics,
  management, team work etc. The answer to the
  mathematical or statistical problem is converted
  into real life situation using six sigma tools.

• The purpose of six sigma is to reduce process
  variation as well as to reduce defects in process
  so that all the products or services provided
  meet or exceed customer requirements as well as
  expectations. Six Sigma uses DMAIC methodology in
  Green belt and DFSS methodology in Black belt
  version.
